About the Teaching

Alejandro Chaoul

Beginners and experienced students alike are invited to join us November 17–19, 2023 for instruction in the ancient practice of Tibetan yoga (trul khor), from the Bön A-tri Dzogchen tradition with Alejandro Chaoul.

Tibetan yoga can be a powerful support for all spiritual practitioners, not only those interested in physical yogas. In the Tibetan spiritual traditions, body, speech/breath, and mind are known as the three doors to enlightenment or the natural state. The contemplative physical movements of Tibetan yoga of the A-tri tradition enable us to enter all three doors through a single practice, offering a powerful, skillful means for clearing the obstacles and obscurations to openness and clarity in meditation practice.

During this weekend Alejandro Chaoul will teach us the Tibetan magical movements, and guide us through the yogic posture and movement, and show us how to work with our body and breath to expand our meditation practice and cultivate well-being in our daily life.

  • • The essential practices of trul khor or “magical movements of Tibetan yoga, and how they relate to the Tsa Lung practices.
  • • How trul khor relates to the profound view and practice of Dzogchen
  • • How the subtle body relates to meditation, and our experience of reality
  • • Breathing techniques to help us cultivate calmness and peace
  • • How to keep whatever meditation we practice fresh and inspired

This event will be broadcasted on Zoom. Interpretation into multiple languages will be available. Stay tuned for updates!
