The Practice of Blue Dzambhala

We are glad that Geshe Yungdrung Gyatso - resident lama of Ligmincha Poland - has accepted our invitation and is going to visit us to give a teaching for the Ligmincha Community and other Bön Practicioners.

About the Teaching

Geshe Gyatso will lead a weekend course that will focus on practicing with the Blue Dzambhala.

Dzambhala is an important deity in the Bon tradition and is considered a deity of wealth and prosperity. His role is to support the practitioner so that they have favorable conditions for spiritual growth. There are many practices and rituals in the Bon tradition dedicated to Dzambhala.

Teaching will be in English with Hungarian translation. Stay tuned for information about further languages.

About Geshe Gyatso

Geshe Gyatso

Geshe Yungdrung Gyatso is the resident lama of Ligmincha Poland. He lives in the Chamma Ling Poland center in Wilga, near Warsaw. He also teaches throughout Europe. Geshe Gyatso was born in 1980 in Bicher village, in the Dolpo region of Nepal. This is also the home of the Samling Monastery, the oldest and most important Bön monastery in the region. Geshe Gyatso spent his childhood summers taking care of sheep and yaks. The winters he spent mostly with his father in a monastery, where he learned Tibetan reading and writing, recited mantras and sometimes helped his father prepare tsok offerings.
